  • Graduated from the American University in Cairo in 1976.
  • Holds a MBA in International Business & Marketing in 1981.
  • Joined Citibank 1976, worked in Corporate Banking Government Financial Institute , Finance & Treasury.
  • She rejoined Citigroup as Vice President Head of Personal Banking in 1988.
  • In 1991 she was appointed as Head of Corporate Banking Egypt & in 1995 she moved to Tunisia as Corporate Bank Head & Credit Risk Manager.
  • In 1999 she got promoted to General Manager/Senior Country Officer in Tunisia.
  • In 2001 she assumed the position of Regional Credit Risk Manager, North Africa.
  • In 2003 she became Director of Middle East and North Africa for Corporate & Investment Bank.
  • In 2005 she set up the SME business in Citibank Egypt.
  • By November 2007 served as Senior General Manager (Retail Banking), responsible for all Retail and Branch network in Bank Audi Egypt SAE.
  • In February 2008 as Senior General Manager / Chief Business Officer responsible for all lines of business till March 2009.
  • Joined Piraeus Bank of Egypt on June 2009.
